This pre-university workshop introduces students to the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical imaging analysis. As healthcare systems face growing challenges such as aging populations, emerging diseases, limited medical personnel, and increasing costs, AI offers innovative solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Participants will explore how AI, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), is used to analyze medical images such as X-rays and other diagnostic scans. The program provides a foundational understanding of how data is prepared, how AI models are built, and how image classification works in detecting medical conditions.

The workshop also introduces various AI architectures and highlights why CNN is especially powerful for image-based analysis. Through practical examples and guided exercises, students gain insight into how AI supports faster diagnosis, pattern recognition, and decision-making in healthcare.

This program is designed to bridge biomedical science, biotechnology, and technology—preparing future students to understand and engage with AI-driven healthcare innovation.
