This module explores the concept of digital sovereignty and how individuals navigate control, rights, and responsibilities in the digital space. Students are introduced to Indonesia’s digital legal framework, including constitutional protections, cyber law, and personal data protection regulations, through real-life and highly relevant case studies.

Using a case-based learning approach, the course trains students to analyze cyber cases such as data leaks, doxing, and online misconduct, while developing legal reasoning and critical thinking skills. The material also provides early exposure to future legal professions in the digital era, including the role of Data Protection Officers (DPO), preparing students to become legally aware and responsible digital citizens.
